Summer Custodian
Location: Includes All Residence Halls
Rate of pay: $16.48/hour

Open to non-UI students: Yes
Cleaning student rooms and public areas, unloading trucks, moving furniture and other miscellaneous custodial work in the residence halls.
Responsibilities
• Clean student rooms, apartments, public spaces, stairways and offices
• Trash removal
• Move furniture
• Load and unload trucks
• Other designated tasks
Qualifications
• Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions
• Must be able to perform heavy physical labor and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb a ladder up to 12 feet
• Must be able to work in heat, humidity, and dust
• Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals
• Good attendance and reliability.
• Provide a high level of communication
