Teach group lessons to adults and juniors of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach age and skill appropriate group lessons. (Private lessons, optional)
• Create a disciplined, fun and challenging learning environment for the students.
• Prepare lesson plans ahead of time when leading the class.
• Evaluate and offer feedback to students.
• Report progress to parents/guardians as needed and help answer any questions they may have.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings as requested.
• Assist with occasional special events and tournaments.
• Promote the growth of tennis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum tennis playing experience: High school, USTA tournaments or equivalent.
• Must be dependable.
• Ability to interact with diverse groups through a variety of situations.

Training requirements

• Criminal Background Check upon hire
• Recreational Service Orientation
